Pre-Orders
The bottom line: A pre-order means your order will ship out about a month after you place the order.
The explanation: Typically we only offer items in the shop if we have them physically in hand and are able to ship out immediately. By contrast, a pre-order is when we take orders for an item that hasn't actually been manufactured yet.
This allows us to gauge interest in various new releases, reduce waste, not take a huge financial risk, and offer fun discounts and extras to those who help bring new designs to fruition.
This means that there is a delay between when you order the product and when it will be shipped (typically 3-4 weeks). If this is the case, we will include the anticipated ship date in the product description.
I have a near flawless record in terms of getting pre-orders out earlier than expected or by the estimated ship date. But the occasional supply chain hiccup can sometimes cause slight delays. If this happens I will communicate thoroughly to keep you informed of an updated ship date.
Because the items haven't been manufactured yet, the images we use to promote them are mock ups, which have their own set of limitations. I always strive to make the mock ups as representative of the final as possible, but please bear in mind that there may be some slight differences in the color of the garment or the inks used, the size of the print, as well as the garment itself.
Sizing
People of all genders enjoy wearing our various clothing styles, so we stopped separating them out into "men's" and "women's" styles in an effort to be more accurate and inclusive.
Clothing labeled unisex features a classic straight cut style. The fitted styles are typically what would be referred to as "women's" clothing.
For best fit, we highly suggest consulting our size chart before purchase.
If you have any questions or suggestions regarding this, please do get in touch via the contact page.
The ethical standards that we have set for the company (organic or recycled, sweat shop free and USA made) also severely limits us in many ways including color, style and, most unfortunately, sizing options. In every garment we use, we order every sizing option available to us. This currently produces a range of XS to XXXXL in most unisex shirts, and XS through XL or 2X in most fitted styles. While this offers a range of 15 different sizes to choose from, we realize that this does not necessarily accommodate every body size and type out there. We recognize that this is not an ideal situation and are constantly on the look out for other garment manufacturers who can create sizes above 4X that don't compromise our commitment to ethical labor practices and eco friendlier materials.

Materials & Sourcing
Yes! From our dyes and inks, to the adhesives on our stickers, rest assured that as a vegan owned and operated company I take the vegan label very seriously.
Yes, all our clothing is made in the USA and sweat shop free. We currently print exclusively on Royal Apparel. They manufacture in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Additionally all of the cotton used is 100% organic. Some garments we have use recycled materials, or bamboo. This will be stated on the product page. All garments use low impact dyes.
We only use water based inks. While they are harder to work with, and therefore less-often used, they are much more environmentally friendly than thick plastisol inks that crack and peel over time.
Techical stuff: In our earlier years we did only discharge printing, that makes the print feel the same as the shirt itself. But over the years I began to see people sporting designs that had faded considerably. Given that the message is the reason Compassion Co exists I worked with my printer to find a better solution.
In order to create a print that remains bright and vibrant over time, on all dark colored shirts we do apply a white underbase print before applying the color that you end up seeing. This does mean you will be able to feel the print on the shirt, though it is a far cry from the super thick, stiff plastisol prints that are the industry standard.
We do our best to source ethical materials and often have to turn down a lot of fun products because they don't meet our standards. After careful research we determined that bamboo fits in with our mission and is, in fact, more sustainable than organic cotton alone. Technically a grass, bamboo is the fastest woody growing plant in the world and can reach full height in just 8-10 weeks and harvesting can be done without any damage to the surrounding environment. Bamboo grows very densely and as a result has a highly efficient yield of 60 tons per 2.5 acres compared to only 1-2 tons of cotton for the same area. Bamboo also requires very little water to grow, can help slow deforestation and does not require pesticides or fertilizers to grow. With so many amazing advantages to using bamboo over cotton we are doing our best to explore all of the uses possible.
Shipping & Returns
Yes, we ship worldwide! 🌍
Usually international packages take 2 weeks or less to arrive but we have seen them take upwards of 6-8 weeks in certain locations.
Additional international shipping will be calculated during checkout, typically $10-16 for the first shirt and $5 for each shirt after that. Orders containing only stickers will ship for around $3.
Please be aware that once a package leaves the country it is no longer able to be tracked by USPS and we are not responsible or liable if the package is lost during international shipping. While this is incredibly rare, it does happen.
Orders are typically shipped out within 1-2 business days of being placed. Since I run this business by myself, during times of heavy travel for Vegfests, it make take a few days longer to fulfill orders.
Under normal circumstances transit times are 2-4 business days for orders within the US. Lately we have been seeing some significant delays, in particular with orders shipped via USPS.
Small orders of stickers will ship out in a flat stamped envelope via USPS
All other orders may ship with USPS or UPS depending on which will get to you the fastest with the most cost effective option.
We will accept all returns and exchanges within one month of initial purchase as long as the item is unwashed/unused. We cannot accept any items that are dirty, have a strong smell or have hair on them (human or non-human).
For the first exchange of orders made within the US and Canada, the customer is responsible for the cost of sending back the item and we will cover the cost of sending you your new item. Any further exchanges, the customer will pay all shipping costs. For international orders the customer must cover all shipping costs.
Please contact us for further return instructions. Please do NOT send back an order to the shipping address on the package without contacting me first. I will provide you with the most appropriate return shipping address to ensure a speedy return/exchange.
All sales on clearance items are final, except in the event of a defective item.
